Nzonzi joins Galatasaray on initial loan

Nzonzi will join the Turkish club on an initial season-long loan deal, which runs until 30 June 2020.

As part of the agreement, Galatasaray have the option to make the transfer permanent - prior to the expiration of the loan - for a fixed fee of €16 million.

The club also have the option to extend the loan for a further 12 months - until 30 June 2021 - for a loan fee of €500,000.

If that option is activated, the club can also make the transfer permanent, prior to the conclusion of the deal, for a fee of €13m.

Nzonzi, 30, joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2018, shortly after playing a part in France’s World Cup-winning squad.

During the 2018-19 season he made 39 appearances for the Giallorossi, scoring one goal.
