World Water Day: AS Roma promotes responsible water use

As part of the initiatives organised for World Water Day on 22 March, AS Roma is helping to raise awareness by symbolically turning off the water supply at the Centro Sportivo Fulvio Bernardini for three hours and encouraging fans to do likewise.

This is in addition to the initiatives already being carried out by the club to promote a responsible use of water, such as watering the grass training pitches and ornamental plants using water from aquifers or by drawing from waterways while respecting the law.

The club's commitment comes under the policies in UEFA's Strength Through Unity strategy to achieve the UN Agenda 2030 sustainable development goals.

The Ministry of the Environment's ten-point guide to saving water:

- Use water consciously
