This decision highlights the shared commitment of both brands towards sustainability and their desire to make a tangible difference by promoting the development and use of advanced biofuels and creating social value through joint initiatives.
Last year, the two partners collaborated on a programme to benefit the local area, focusing on environmental sustainability and community engagement.
Q8, in particular, is committed to an increasingly sustainable future by offering innovative solutions and alternative fuels. In this regard, Q8 enabled the club to heat the Trigoria training centre with Q8 HVO+, the innovative advanced and sustainable biofuel that helps reduce CO2 emissions to 90% across its entire lifecycle compared to traditional fuels. Additionally, Q8 HVO+ was also used to power the club's official coach.
In line with what was achieved last season, this year’s partnership between Q8 and AS Roma will continue to thrive through valuable initiatives that will once again underscore both parties' commitment to pursuing sustainability.
“We’re excited to support Roma and its fans on this journey towards sustainable mobility with Q8 HVO+, which significantly reduces environmental impact and embodies the results of our continuous research and innovation”, said Fabio Curtacci, Retail & Marketing Director of Q8 Italy. “We share AS Roma’s belief that businesses must play a fundamental role in the community by working together and we’re proud to have arranged valuable social initiatives together to support the area in which we operate.”
