“I’m very happy and excited about my move to AS Roma,” commented Korpela.
“This is a great and traditional club and I'm proud to be able to represent this club. I will do everything in my power to help us succeed in all possible competitions, both in Italy and in Europe.”
The Finn has won league titles in three different countries: Finland, Norway and Germany.
“Tinja is a classy keeper with a strong character. Aside from her vast experience in the best leagues in Europe she’s also picked up more than 100 caps for Finland,” stated sporting director Gianmarco Migliorati.
“We were keen to round off our goalkeepers with someone of her stature and we’re convinced that her recruitment will stand us in good stead of what’s set to be a long and competitive season.”
Welcome to Roma, Tinja-Riikka!
