AS Roma can confirm that midfielder Gerson has joined ACF Fiorentina on loan.
The Brazilian, 21, joins La Viola on a season-long loan deal that runs until 30 June 2019.
Gerson joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2016, going on to make 42 appearances for the club over the last season.
He has scored two goals for Roma - both of them coming against his new club in a 4-2 win last season at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
