The club's medical staff have issued the following update on the condition of young defender Luca Pellegrini:
On Wednesday full-back Luca Pellegrini underwent surgery to repair a fracture to his left patella, an injury suffered after a heavy collision during last week's Primavera match against AC Milan.
The surgery was successful and the defender will soon begin a specialised recovery programme.
