All you need to know about Roma’s home clash with Torino

For the third time this season, Roma will take to the pitch on a Monday evening.

After previous Monday run-outs against Salernitana and Cagliari, with one at home and one on the road, this time it is Ivan Juric’s Torino side travelling to Rome to kick off the week.

The clash at the Stadio Olimpico is scheduled to start at 18:30 CET.

Here’s all you need to know about the fixture, which has Riyadh Season as the match sponsor.

    Meeting number 184

This will be the 184th showdown between the two clubs.

In the previous 183 meetings, Roma have won 76, drawn 50 and fallen to defeat on 57 occasions.

    Abraham seals last home win

Roma’s most-recent home victory over Torino came on 28 November 2021 when Tammy Abraham netted the only goal of the contest in the 32nd minute.

DDR the 43rd coach to take on Torino

Daniele De Rossi will be the 43rd Roma coach to face Torino in a competitive fixture.

The three coaches who have led the Giallorossi into battle against the Granata the most are Nils Liedholm (28), Helenio Herrera (13) and Luciano Spalletti (11).

De Rossi’s tenure in Serie A

Roma have won four of the last five league games under Daniele De Rossi, racking up 12 points in that time.

Only Bologna (13) have registered more points since his appointment ahead of Week 21.

Records against Torino for appearances and goals

Bruno Contin and Sergio Santarini have made the most appearances against Torino on 28.

In terms of finding the net, Enrique Guaita and Pedro Manfredini had a knack for converting against the Granata, with nine goals to their names.

    Targeting back-to-back clean sheets

Roma have kept a clean sheet in two of their last four Serie A outings (as many as in the previous 13 matches), including last time out against Frosinone.

The last time the Giallorossi racked up back-to-back shutouts was in April 2023 with a run of three clean sheets, the second of which came in a 1-0 victory against none other than Torino.
