Borini, 33, has joined Roma Women on a contract that runs until 30 June 2022.
The Brazilian central midfielder joins the club after spending the last eight years in Spain, where she represented the likes of Torrejon, Rayo Vallecano, Sporting Huelva, Valencia, Granadilla and Madrid CFF.
"When I heard about the interest from Roma I didn't have to think twice, I said yes immediately," Borini said.
"I will give everything I have for this team and to represent this club as well as possible."
Borini becomes the third Brazilian to join Alessandro Spugna's squad, following Andressa and Thaisa Moreno.
"Joyce is a player who knows European football very well - she's played in Spain for a long time and has picked up a lot of experience," said Betty Bavagnoli, Roma's Head of Women's Football.
"She is a midfielder with great power and energy, which will only help complete the options we have available to us."
Borini will wear the No. 33 shirt for the Giallorosse.
Welcome, Joyce.
