The club can confirm that defender Mert Cetin has joined Hellas Verona on a season-long loan deal.
The club can confirm that defender Mert Cetin has joined Hellas Verona on a season-long loan.
The Turkish defender has joined the Gialloblu for the 2020-21 season, in a temporary deal that runs until 30 June 2021.
As part of the agreement, Verona have the option to make the transfer permanent. In the event this option is exercised, Roma will also retain a buy-back option.
Cetin, 23, joined AS Roma last summer – going on to make six appearances during his first season in the Italian capital.
The club would like to wish Mert the best of luck for this new challenge.
