Ricci moves to Sassuolo

Ricci, 22, joins on an initial loan deal until 30 June 2017, with Sassuolo having an option to make the transfer permanent.

Should that be exercised, Roma will retain a buy-back clause on the player.

The academy graduate made four brief appearances for the first-team during the 2013-14 season, before spending the last two campaigns on loan at Crotone.

In total he made 57 appearances for the Calabrian side, scoring nine goals. Last season he was one of the key players as Crotone earned promotion to Serie A.
