Mohamed Salah took to social media to thank his fans and express his gratitude - after he was named the Arab Player of the Year at the recent Globe Soccer Awards.
The awards, held at an event in Dubai this week, recognised the winger's flying performances for club and country during 2016 - something the Egypt international was clearly thankful for.
"I'm very proud to be the recipient of the award for Best Arab Player 2016," Salah wrote, "and would like to extend my gratitude to all those who support me."
Salah's achievement was recognised by his Roma colleagues: with defender Antonio Rudiger and chief executive Umberto Gandini both congratulating him on his success
