The club’s medical staff have issued the following update on the condition of Roma Women midfielder Andrine Hegerberg:
During Friday’s training session Andrine Hegerberg twisted her left knee, suffering a suspected tear of her anterior cruciate ligament in the process.
On Monday, the player underwent further scans and examinations that confirmed that diagnosis.
The player will undergo surgery in the next few days.
