AS Roma Women and Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital team up for women's health

When the Giallorosse players walk out for the big match against AC Milan on Sunday 20 October, they will be wearing pink armbands in support of Ottobre Rosa, a nationwide month-long initiative which aims to raise awareness about women's health and the importance of preventive medical care.

In support of 'Pink October' month, the club has teamed up with the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation – AS Roma's Official Medical Partner – for its Penso a Te, mi prendo cura di Me (I think of you and take care of me) campaign.

The pink armbands on display at the Stadio Tre Fontane are just one of a whole host of activities being run over the course of the month.

The Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital is offering a series of prevention packages in gynaecology, dentistry, cardiology, sports medicine, eye testing and laser therapy at special rates, both at the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital itself in Trigoria and at the Porta Pinciana Outpatient Clinic. Bookings can be made either by email or on this site.

As part of Ottobre Rosa month, the Campus Bio-Medico University Hospital Foundation also offered a range of free check-ups, which were all snapped up almost immediately.
