Ajax 2-1 Roma Women: European journey comes to an end

Roma Women's Champions League journey came to an end on Tuesday night after losing 2-1 to Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena.

Elisa Bartoli's first half header was not enough to secure three vital points for the Giallorosse, as the home side scored at the end of both halves to seal the victory.

The Giallorosse finished last in a competitive Group C with five points, while PSG and Ajax advanced to the quarter-finals.
