Roma Women sign Martina Tomaselli!

Tomaselli joins from Sassuolo where she had spent the previous five seasons. In 2021 she scooped the Golden Girl award, which is given to the most outstanding U21 Italian female footballer.

 “It’s an honour to join this huge club and pull on this shirt,” declared the 22-year-old.

 “I can’t wait to get stuck in. I want to contribute to the team so that we can have a top season and bring our fans something to shout about. Forza Roma!”

 Born in 2001, Tomaselli made her Serie A debut for Brescia when she was only 16.

“Martina is the present and future of Italian football. She’s a talented youngster, a midfielder with fantastic vision and technique,” commented Betty Bavagnoli, Head of Women’s Football.

 “By recruiting a player with her characteristics our midfield will be boosted. We’re so happy to have her join Roma.”
