AS Roma Women 2-0 Sampdoria: Unbeaten at home!

Roma are unbeaten at home in all competitions and that didn't change this afternoon, as Sampdoria were the latest victims at Stadio Tre Fontane.

The deadlock was broken just before half-time, as Giugliano's impressive free-kick found the bottom-right corner of the Sampdoria net.

Roma controlled possession in the second half with multiple chances testing the opposition's defense. However, it was the introduction of Roman which sealed the game, and when Giada Greggi's inviting cross found her head in the box, there was only one outcome.

The Giallorosse now sit six points clear at the top of the table, where attention will now turn to the important midweek clash against Wolfsburg in the UWCL.
