Ohrstrom, 35, has signed a two-year deal with Roma Women that runs until 30 June 2024.
A familiar face to watchers of the Italian game, Ohrstrom has made 220 appearances in Serie A over the last 12 years in the country.
“Roma are a club that I have always admired; in recent seasons the results have been self-evident and the team plays the best football in Serie A,” Ohrstrom said.
“That’s why I am so pleased to be joining this club.
“My aim is to give my best, making sure I am ready at any moment, and I hope that I will win something with this team."
Ohrstrom has won Serie A twice before in her career, with Verona and then Fiorentina, while during her time with La Viola she also lifted the Coppa Italia twice and the Italian Supercup on another occasion.
She will join Camelia Ceasar and Emma Lind in vying for game time between the posts for Alessandro Spugna’s side.
“With Stephanie’s arrival we have completed our goalkeeper line-up, one that was already extremely competitive,” said Betty Bavagnoli, the club’s Head of Women’s Football.
“Thanks to her vast experience and charisma, Stephanie will know how best to help the group both on and off the pitch, during what promises to be a long season with plenty of exciting matches in store.
"She will also be an invaluable resource for some of our younger players.”
Welcome to Roma, Stephanie!
