The display, created by street artist Lucamaleonte, stands on the side of one of the buildings at Largo Evangelista Torricelli 1 in the heart of the famous Rome district.
The mural is a joint project between Roma Cares, Regione Lazio and Ater Roma, as part of the celebrations to formally mark 150 years or Rome as Italy's capital.
The mural is accompanied by a special plaque featuring one of the lines from Fiorini's song 'Amore Giallorosso' ('Yellow-Red Love'), "Roma sei madre, sei moje e amante" ('Rome you are my mother, my wife and my lover', as said in the local dialect).
Lando's son, Francesco Saverio Fiorini, was at Thursday's event to unveil the mural - alongside various senior figures from the groups involved in the project and the musicians Marco Conidi and Alberto Laurenti.
Students from Teresa Spinelli comprehensive school also performed Fiorini's famous song, 'Forza Roma, forza Lupi', which plays at the Stadio Olimpico on matchdays.
The club's representative for the occasion was Francesco Pastorella, the director of Roma Department.
"As a club it is our honour to be able to celebrate artists who have helped share Roman culture throughout both Italian and the world," Pastorella said.
"And we are proud to be able to do that while involving the Rome community, Roma fan clubs and local schools."
