Club continues support for the homeless around Rome

This week the club continued its resolution to support the homeless population of Rome, providing blankets and clothing to individuals around the capital.

On the evening of February 28, representatives from the club and Caritas di Roma, a local charity focused on the issue of homelessness, were at Termini Station to try and assist individuals sleeping rough in the area.

Among the materials handed out by club officials, members of Roma Club and members of the Jewish Community of Rome, were Sparco caps, wool hats, scarves, pullovers, waterproof jackets, winter coats and more.

The initiative was also supported by the Italian armed forces, who provided more than 200 blankets.
