Lucia Di Guglielmo is the newest member of Roma Women...
Get to know a little bit more about the full-back!
Born in Pisa, Di Guglielmo has spent the large part of her career so far in Tuscany - first playing for Valdarno, before progressing to Castelfranco, the team that would subsequently become Empoli Ladies.
With the Azzurre she won promotion to Serie A twice, going on to become captain of the side as well.
Empoli finished the 2020-21 season in sixth place, establishing themselves in the top flight.

After a number of international call-ups for coach Milena Bertolini's side, in February 2021 the full-back made her national team debut - coming on as second half substitute against Israel at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence.
A right-back who is also comfortable enough playing on the left, Di Guglielmo is a complete footballer in her position - dangerous in attack and capable in defence, while also able to switch between the two at lightning speed.
Spirited and determined, Di Guglielmo does not shy away from the physical side of the game either.
To date Di Guglielmo has made 52 appearances in Serie A - scoring just one goal to date, in a 2-1 away win over AC Milan.
During the 2020-21 season she made 21 appearances for the club, all of them starts. She won 80% of her challenges and completed 73% of her forward passes (63% of which took place in the opposition half).
