Primavera campaign suspended for a month

The 2020-21 Primavera season has been suspended until December 3, following a league meeting to discuss the situation.

The decision has been made as a result of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the associated problems in ensuring the safety of all participating in the championship - with the escalated spread of the virus in recent weeks leading to the decision from the competition organisers.

Fixtures are now suspended until the start of December - in line with the most recent government decree, which imposed new restrictions on travel and more to combat the latest stage of the pandemic.

Alberto De Rossi's Primavera side had made a fast start to the campaign - winning all six of their matches to date.

Midfielder Tommaso Milanese also recently made his first-team debut for the club, coming on as a second half substitute during Thursday's win over CFR Cluj in the Europa League.
