In the club's 93-year history, Roma have won more than 50% of their games in a single campaign on no fewer than 22 occasions.
Raise that mark to 60%, however, and just seven campaigns remain.
Here, we take a look back at those notable statistical seasons.
Across 43 games played in all competitions, the Giallorossi won 26 - drawing five and losing the other 12.
That was good enough for the team to finish second in the league, with a late season defeat against an already-relegated Lecce extinguishing any dim Scudetto hopes in what was otherwise an often swashbuckling campaign.
This time Roma played 56 games across the course of the entire campaign - winning 34, drawing 14 and losing just eight.
Inter won the title that season with Roma, yet again, coming close without quite croshing the threshold. There was satisfaction elsewhere, though - as Roma won both the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa over the Nerazzurri during the course of the campaign.
A total of 55 games played during this campaign, with 34 wins and 10 draws.
The form was better in the league, with a 63.2% win percentage - although another late collapse, this time at Sampdoria, was again somewhat to blame as Inter edged their way to the Scudetto yet again.
Just 44 games played in this season - but what a 44 they were! Twenty-eight wins, 11 draws and just five defeats all campaign - with a 64.7% win percentage in a stacked Serie A alone.
With that final day victory over Parma, the Giallorossi this time did clinch the Serie A title - the third in the club's history.
Roma, playing at the famous Campo Testaccio, finished the season in second - winning 23 of their 36 games that season.
One game perhaps stands out among all the others from that season: a 5-0 win over Juventus in March 1931.
Of the 54 games played in this campaign under Luciano Spalletti, the side won 36 - with 11 defeats and seven draws.
Results in the Europa League and Coppa Italia actually drag the average down - if Serie A is considered on its own, then the Giallorossi earned more points (87) and had a better win percentage (73.7%) than ever before in club history. Second was once again the finishing position that year - edging out Napoli for the second Champions League spot and forcing Juventus to go all the way to claim the title.
No Roma season can match this one on statistics alone - although it is a rare anomaly where the overall win percentage is higher than Serie A alone (68.4%).
Rudi Garcia's side famously started the league campaign with 10 straight wins. They couldn't quite keep up that pace, and were eventually overhauled by Juventus, but still left fans with many memories of an enjoyable attacking team.
