Either Greek side Olympiakos or English side Wolverhampton Wanderers lie in wait in the quarter-finals of the competition.
The two sides drew 1-1 in Piraeus before the lockdown, with the second leg still to be completed.
Should that round also be surpassed, the Giallorossi will be into the semi-finals - where they will face one of LASK, Manchester United, Istanbul Basaksehir or Copenhagen.
United are likely to progress against Austrian side LASK, having won 5-0 in the first leg of their last-16 meeting.
Basaksehir, who Roma faced and beat in the group stages of the competition earlier in the season, hold a slender 1-0 advantage over their Danish opponents in their tie.
Once the last-16 ties are completed, all remaining rounds will be one-legged affairs played on neutral territory in Germany.
Roma's game against Sevilla will take place in Duisburg on August 6, with the winning team moving on to a quarter-final at the same venue on August 11.
The final of the competition is scheduled to take place on August 21 in Cologne.
