The club is delighted to confirm that Roma Women defender Allyson Swaby has signed a contract extension.
Swaby, 23, has signed a new deal with the Giallorosse that runs until summer 2022.
“I’m pleased to continue my adventure with Roma,” Swaby said.
“I think it has been a great thing for my development, as a player and a person. I feel at home in Rome, I enjoy life here, I’ve settled in well.
“I’ve also built a great bond with my teammates over the last 18 months. We all have the same targets and that is so important for the future.”
In total Swaby has made 30 appearances for the club to date, scoring two goals.
After arriving in the capital at the end of 2018, Swaby quickly established herself as a key part of coach Betty Bavagnoli’s team.
This season she has been a virtual ever-present for the side, most recently scoring during the Coppa Italia quarter-final victory over San Marino Academy.
A full Jamaica international, Swaby represented her country at last summer’s Women’s World Cup.
Congratulations, Allyson!
