Medical update: Lorenzo Pellegrini

The club’s medical staff have issued the following update on the condition of midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini:

Midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini underwent medical examinations on Monday morning, after complaining of pain in his right foot following Sunday’s win over Lecce.

These examinations revealed evidence of a fracture to the fifth metatarsal.

Pellegrini is scheduled to under a corrective procedure on Tuesday. Following its conclusion it will be possible to assess the likely period required to complete a full recovery.
