Roma Legends hosted a team made up of Formula E racing drivers in a special friendly match on Thursday afternoon, eventually playing out a spirited 5-5 draw.

Marco Delvecchio scored four for the Giallorossi - with Federico Balzaretti getting the other - but it was the visiting racing drivers who scored a late equaliser to ensure the spoils were shared at Stadio Tre Fontane.

Among those in action for Roma were Francesco Totti, Bruno Conti, Simone Perrotta and Vincent Candela - while Felipe Massa captained a drivers' team that also included the likes of Giancarlo Fisichella, Ricardo Patrese and current Formula E championship leader Antonio da Costa.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Associazione Andrea Tudisco charity, which aims to ensure patients with very specific medical needs are able to get the care they need in Rome.

"This is where it all started for me," said Totti afterwards. "I worked hard and I eventually realised my dreams.

"But the main thing today was charity - it is important to support these types of initiatives and I am always very keen to do so."
