In Numbers: 10 stats from Roma's 2018-19 Serie A campaign

Following the conclusion of the 2018-19 campaign, we've rounded up a few statistics worth noting...

3: Nicolò Zaniolo is the youngest player to have scored his first three goals in Serie A for Roma since Francesco Totti (18 years 6 months) in 1995. Zaniolo was 19 years and 7 months old when he scored his third Serie A goal, against Fiorentina in March.

5: Stephan El Shaarawy scored five goals in the opening 15 minutes of games this season - more than any other player in the league.

8: Aleksandar Kolarov scored more goals than any other defender in Europe's top five leagues this season. He also became the first foreign defender to score eight goals in a single Serie A campaign since another Serbian, Sinisa Mihajlovic, did it in 1998-99.

11: With 11 players scoring at least three goals during the season, Roma had more multiple goalscorers than any other side in Europe's big five leagues.

22: Roma scored a total of 22 times from set-piece situations, just one fewer than Juventus - who led the league in that category.

33: Roma scored more first half goals than any other side in Serie A this season.

38: Roma were one of only two sides - the other being Juventus - to go the entire season making at least one change to their starting XI for the following game.

41 + 25: Roma picked up 41 points from home matches over the course of the season - the third best record in the league behind Juventus and Napoli. But away from home they earned just 25, good enough for just the eighth best away record overall.

59: Lorenzo Pellegrini created more chances than any other Roma player this season; 59 in 25 games.

131: Edin Dzeko had 131 shots over the course of the season, fourth most among players: ahead of him were Cristiano Ronaldo (177), Fabio Quagliarella (141) and Federico Chiesa (133).
