Top Five: Roma-Juve clashes from the last 30 years

With the Giallorossi set to face the Bianconeri for the 174th time in the Italian top flight this Sunday, we've picked out what we think are the best five Roma-Juventus meetings from the last 30 years.

Okay, so the 3-0 win in 1986 was technically 33 years ago - but we don't think anyone will mind if we make an exception!

Do you agree with our top five?

    5. Roma 1-0Juventus
    16 December 2013

Francesco Totti lit up a mediocre season when he rifled through the Bianconeri rearguard with a 113-kmph rocket.

It was the captain's 224th goal in Serie A and Roma's first win in two months. An unforgettable moment for Giallorossi fans.

    4. Roma 2-1 Juventus
    21 February 1993

Roma fans have a stadium chant – to the tune of Tetris – dedicated to Thomas Hassler's match-winning strike in this game.

The German playmaker earned a place in the hearts of the Olimpico faithful with a stunning long-range finish, completing the turnaround after Giuseppe Giannini had cancelled out Roby Baggio's opener.

    3. Roma 2-0 Juventus
    15 November 1998

Zdenek Zeman's side sent Juve packing from with a goal in each half. Totti dinked a quick free kick over the Juve defence and Paulo Sergio volleyed the Giallorossi in front on the stroke of half time.

Vincent Candela netted the second towards the end of the second half when he bounded down the left wing, cut inside and finished from a tight angle.

The Olimpico erupted and Roma moved to within a point of league leaders Fiorentina.

    2. Roma 4-0 Juventus
    08 February 2004

Roma tore Marcello Lippi's side to shreds with a four-goal mauling that quickly became the stuff of legend.

Fabio Capello's men took the lead through Olivier Dacourt then Francesco Totti made it 2-0 from the spot. Antonio Cassano added a third from close range and completed the scoring with a header. Footballing heaven.

    1. Roma 3-0 Juve
    16 March 1986

The entire stadium looked like an extension of the Curva Sud with tonnes of yellow and red paper on display all round the arena and the crowd ready to drive the team on to victory.

Francesco Graziani headed in an early opener, Roberto Pruzzo rose highest to power home the second, and Toninho Cerezo completed the scoring in the second half as Sven-Goran Eriksson's Giallorossi closed the gap with their rivals at the top to three points.
