Stat Attack: 10 facts to know before Roma face Chievo

1. Unbeaten streak

Roma are on a ten-match unbeaten run against Chievo in Serie A (W7, D3). In seven of those games the Giallorossi have scored at least twice.

2. Chievo on -2 points…

Chievo have picked up just one point from their first three games this season. Only once, in 2006-07, have they had a single point after four games. However, on Thursday the Gialloblu were handed a three-point penalty for accounting irregularities, meaning they will arrive at the Olimpico with -2 points on the board.

3. Short-lived lead

Of the Serie A teams that have scored at least one goal, Roma and Chievo are the two that have spent the least time in a winning position this season – just 18 and 19 minutes, respectively.

4. Edin's right foot?

Edin Dzeko's last ten league strikes have come from his left boot (six, including two against Chievo in April) or his head (four). Overall the Bosnian has found the net four times against Chievo – the most he's scored against any side.

Chievo – along with Udinese – are the team Stephan El Shaarawy has scored the most goals against in Serie A (five, four of which while playing for Roma).

Roma have drawn their last two home games in the league. They haven't drawn three in a row at the Olimpico since March 2015.

Roma and Chievo have faced off at the Olimpico 16 times in the top flight since their inaugural Serie A meeting in 2002. The Giallorossi have won 11, drawn three and lost two of those games, scoring 31 and conceding six in the process.

8. Totti's treble double

The Roma player who has struck the most braces (three) against Chievo is, unsurprisingly, Francesco Totti. In total Il Capitano scored nine times against the Gialloblu.
