AS Roma to play San Lorenzo on 3 September

The club is pleased to announce that a friendly against Argentine side San Lorenzo has been scheduled on 3 September 2016.

The event will be a part of the 'Festa della Famiglia' ('Family Festival'), organised by the club with the support of the Papal council, as part of the events to commemorate the church's year-long Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy.

The Giallorossi shirt will also feature the logo of the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, which comes to a conclusion in November, especially for the exhibition match.

The friendly will be played at the Stadio Olimpico (kick-off 18:00) as the culmination of a day's family entertainment, with plenty of activities in and around the ground for parents and children.

It will give the club the chance to commemorate a unique and historic time, as per the wishes of Pope Francis - a known San Lorenzo fan - for the Jubilee.

From midday onwards on 3 September, a series of fun event will be set up at the Stadio Olimpico and in the surrounding Foro Italico to highlight the values of sport and family.

Below you can find information on how to buy tickets for the match. Tickets will go on sale at 12:00 on Wednesday 24 August until 18:00 on Saturday 3 September.

Children under the age of 12 will be able to pick up a free ticket for the game at Roma Store branches and the ticket offices in Via Appia, Piazza Colonna, Roma Est and Via del Corso. They must be accompanied by an adult and show an ID document in order to receive a ticket.
