Roma haven’t lost since the 1-0 defeat to Juventus in Turin on 24 January 2016, the second game of the Spalletti era.
Since that loss, the Giallorossi have strung together an impressive run of 15 wins and four draws, starting with the 3-1 win over Frosinone at the Stadio Olimpico on 30 January and stretching right through to the 2-2 draw at Cagliari last time out.
They have taken 49 points from a possible 57.
Roma have a goal difference of +33 over the course of their unbeaten run, having scored 52 and conceded just 19.
In addition to the draw with Cagliari, Roma’s other three draws during the run were the home draws against Inter and Bologna and the 3-3 thriller at Atalanta.
Spalletti’s men will be trying to make it 20 games unbeaten when they take on Marco Giampaolo’s Sampdoria side at the Olimpico on Sunday at 15:00 CEST.
Sampdoria currently have a 100% record in Serie A 2016-17, having won both of their opening matches.
