Forward Ezequiel Ponce was substituted on in the 46th minute of Granada’s 3-1 defeat to Valencia on Sunday, scoring a goal in the match.
Ponce’s goal came in the 65th minute, as he capitalised on a mistake from Valencia goalkeeper Diego Alves before beating his defender and finishing coolly from a difficult angle inside the box to deliver Granada’s lone goal in the match.
The finish was Ponce's first goal since August 2016, and his second goal of the season in 21 league appearances. Ponce also won one aerial duel, made one key pass, and took three shots - two of which were on target - during his appearance.
His next league match is Sunday against Celta Vigo.
