In an update, the European governing body confirmed that the Giallorossi are among a number of clubs who had successfully adhered to compliance agreements they had previously reached - satisfying FFP requirements and ensuring no need for any further sanctions.
In a statement, UEFA wrote:
The CFCB [Club Financial Control Body] Investigatory Chamber confirmed that FC Krasnodar, FC Lokomotiv Moscow, AS Monaco FC, AS Roma and FC Zenit St Petersburg have been considered in compliance with the requirements and overall objective of their agreements. Consequently, they have all exited the settlement regime.
Roma entered into a settlement agreement with UEFA in the summer of 2015, agreeing to a three-season arrangement that covered a range of financial restrictions.
With all those stipulations now met, UEFA have released the Giallorossi from the settlement process.
