Serie A confirm calendar for 2018-19 campaign

The league campaign will get underway on the weekend of 19 August 2018, with the final games taking place on Sunday 26 May 2019.

For the first time, a round of matches will take place on Boxing Day - with the winter break taking place over the first weekend of January.

The Coppa Italia gets underway in July for some teams, but Roma and other top sides will enter the competition at the last-16 stage - with those fixtures scheduled for the weekend of 13 January 2019.

The Supercoppa will also take place in January.
