The Giallorossi were drawn against the Ukrainian, Bulgarian and Norwegian opponents during Friday's draw in Istanbul.
The fixture date and times for all six group games will be confirmed in due course.
The draw means the Giallorossi will face Sofia for the second season in succession, after meeting the Bulgarian side in last year's Europa League group stage.
It will be a first-ever meeting for Mourinho's men with the other two clubs in the group.
The winners of Group C will progress automatically to the last-16 of the competition.
The runners-up, meanwhile, will face an interim play-off tie against one of the eight Europa League 'lucky losers' to book their place in that phase of the tournament.
