Rasmus was born on 11 July 1997 in Brande, a small town of 7,500 inhabitants located in the Jutland region of Denmark.
Kristensen is a right back who offers a lot going forward. He gives his heart and soul to his team, tackles hard, possesses a great passing range and has impressive shooting ability. In fact, he’s scored 27 goals in his 255 career appearances across all competitions, no mean feat for a player in his position.
After forging his skillset at local side Brande RF the full back then moved on to another small Danish club, Hernig Fremad. Rasmus then made the first big step of his career when he joined FC Midtjylland’s youth setup, before going on to make his professional debut for the club on 7 March 2016 against Nordsjaelland
Ajax came calling in 2018, where Rasmus spent one season. He then signed for RB Salzburg which is where he showed what he’s really capable of, scoring 14 times and providing 19 assists in 109 appearances. His performances didn’t go unnoticed and Leeds United came calling in June 2022.
