Ticket news: Olimpico capacity returns to 100%

Here's what the new government legislation means for Roma fans at home matches over the remaining games of the 2021-22 season...

It's finally official - with a new governmental decree announced, stadium capacities in Italy will return to 100% allowance prior to the next round of Serie A fixtures.

Here's what the news means for Roma fans at the Stadio Olimpico.

    Roma v. Bodo/Glimt

Over 45,000 tickets have already been sold for the Europa Conference League quarter-final second leg game against the Norwegian champions, who we also met in the group stage of the competition.

However, the new rules mean the club has now been able to re-open ticket sales in all areas of the stadium that were previously listed as sold out.

    Roma v. Salernitana

The return to maximum capacity allowance means fans can still take advantage of the 'Three-Pack' offer for the last three home Serie A matches of the season (Salernitana, Bologna and Venezia).

All sectors where this offer was previously sold out are now once again available for purchase.

Just 30 euros gets you tickets for all three matches, as Jose Mourinho's side look to finish their league campaign as strongly as possible.

What it means for the Curva Sud

The Curva Sud was sold out during the season ticket phase of ticket campaign this season, where capacity was limited to 75% of the total stand. With the remaining 25% now available to be filled, the club has decided to give preference to 2021-22 season ticket holders in other areas of the ground the opportunity to purchase reduced price tickets in the Curva Sud.

In this way, the season ticket holders can choose to move into Curva Sud themselves and pass on their previous tickets to a friend, or simply purchase Curva Sud tickets for a friend.

To complete a purchase, individuals will simply need to login with their PNR code and date of birth and proceed through the process.

    Rules for Entering the Stadium

In order to enter the stadium it will be necessary for all fans over the age of 12 to show their COVID-19 Green Pass or equivalent.

The certificate, available in either digital or paper form, contains a QR code with an individual electronic signature assigned to the holder.

In Italy, the certificate is issued by the Ministero della Salute.

The certificate confirms one of the following conditions:

    • The holder has received a COVID-19 vaccine (between 1 and 3 doses)
    • The holder has recovered from COVID-19 in the last six months
    • The holder has tested negative after taking either a rapid antigen (LFT) test or molecular test in the 48 hours prior to the start of the event they are attending

For more information on how to get your green pass in Italy, visit: https://www.dgc.gov.it/web/

Fans who are not in possession of a recognisable or verifiable Green Pass will not be permitted entrance to the ground by stewards.

    Rules Once Inside the Stadium

All fans watching the match are asked to respect the current rules:

    • It is obbligatory to wear a FFP2 protective mask at all times
    • Fans should enter the stadium at the time indicated on their ticket, entering via the suggested gate too
    • Fans should stick to their assigned seats
    • Fans should follow the instructions and advice from the stewards
    • Fans should regularly disinfect their hands
