New coach Alessandro Spugna and his squad have plenty to build on after last season's Coppa Italia triumph, with that process beginning this week for the Giallorosse.
After tests and some initial training sessions at the CPO Giulio Onesti in Rome, on Saturday the squad will head off for Terminillo - site of this summer's training retreat.
The group will training at the Enrico Leoncini sports centre, at 1,532 metres above sea level.
Those conditions should provide perfect preparation for the group, who will subsequently head to France for some match preparation - as they compete in the prestigious Amos Women's French Cup.
Spugna's side will test themselves against Lyon, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich, in what is sure to be a high quality tournament.
On Wednesday 4 August the side will face PSG in the first semi-final, with the victors of the other match awaiting the winner in the final.
That game, along with the 3rd-4th place play-off, will take place on Friday 6 August.
