Fienga meets Holy Father on World Day for the Poor

On the fourth edition of the special day, the club – in conjunction with its charity arm, Roma Cares – delivered 5,000 packages of food and other essential items to families in 60 parishes throughout the Italian capital.

At the end of the event on Sunday, the Pope signed a special Roma shirt – which will be put up for auction, with all proceeds to go towards supporting a number of initiatives that will be implemented over the coming weeks.

Delivery of the club’s food packages began on Friday morning – with the initiative, from the creation of the boxes to their distribution, made possible thanks to collaboration from partners including Elite Supermarkets and Orsini Imballaggi.
