The French forward settled into life in the Italian capital with aplomb last season - sitting top of the club's goalscoring charts with nine goals when the 2019-20 season was cut short by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The top scoring non-Italian in the league at that point, Thomas is looking to take that good form into the new season - and believes the Giallorosse are ready to compete with the best teams in the division once again this term.
"It'll be a competitive season," Thomas told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
"[Defending champions] Juventus will always be the team to beat - but it seems to me there are a lot of strong sides this season."
She added: "We know that, just like every year except perhaps this time even more so, every single game will be a battle. Why should we put targets on ourselves now? We will take things week by week and see how things go in the end."
With the league, Coppa Italia and Supercoppa to play for this season, Betty Bavagnoli's side have three chances to pick up a first piece of silverware in the club's history.
"I would love to win something, but we can't talk about that at this point," she added.
"Other sides have got stronger, I think Seri A is improving all the time and because of that we know it's going to be extremely tight. But we are ready."
