From the 2017-18 season onwards the Giallorossi will represent the historic yellow and red tones of the city of Rome, the colours initially used when the club was founded in 1927.
The process of restoring the traditional colours has already begun across areas of the Roma's training ground, club stores, and media packages.
The club's new Nike home kit, which was worn for the first time in the win over Genoa on the last day of the 2016-17 season, also incorporates the colour switch.
Over the next few months the changes will be rolled out to reflect all other brands, along with any physical or digital products linked with the club.
The official Pantone colours now used by the club are as follows: Giallo Roma (130C) and Rosso Roma (202C).
