Medical update: Zaniolo undergoes surgery

Midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo underwent the reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee at Villa Stuart private hospital on Monday afternoon, along with repairs to the external meniscus.

The surgery, which was performed by Professor Mariani and overseen by the club’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Causarano, was successful.

Zaniolo will start the rehabilitation phase of his recovery on Tuesday.
