Massara returned to the club for a second spell in June 2018. In March he was entrusted with overseeing the club’s sporting operations.
“I would like to place on record my thanks to Ricky for his tireless and unselfish work at AS Roma,” said club president Jim Pallotta.
“In both his spells at the club, Ricky has always conducted himself with the upmost professionalism and we all wish him well for the future.”
Massara first joined the club in 2011, before departing for a brief period in the summer of 2017.
“I want to thank the club and president Pallotta for our time working together,” Massara said.
“I hope that the club and Roma fans achieve all the success they deserve.”
