Fuzato, 21, joins the Giallorossi from Brazilian side Palmeiras.
He has signed a four-year contract with the club that runs until 30 June 2022.
“Today begins an incredible new adventure in my career,” Fuzato said. “I know Roma very well, because the club has a long tradition of great Brazilian goalkeepers. I will do everything I can to follow in their footsteps.”
A product of the Palmeiras youth academy, Fuzato is a Brazil Under-20 international.
He will wear the No. 63 shirt.
“In Daniel, we have identified a player with the potential to represent Roma in the future,” sporting director Monchi said.
“For us and our staff, his youth represents a great opportunity to mould and develop a player ready for the challenges of Serie A.”
Fuzato becomes the club’s 10th signing of the summer, following the likes of Javier Pastore, Bryan Cristante and Ivan Marcano.
