The Mexico international, 29, discussed his pride - and determination - at joining such a big club at this point his career, while revealing some of the formative experiences in his homeland and Europe (he joined Dutch side AZ Alkmaar when he was just 20) that have shaped his career to date.
He also discussed his life away from the game, and how excited he is at the prospect of living in a city like Rome, that shares characteristics with his home town and that of his wife, Barcelona.
"The age and maturity of the players is a big difference here," Moreno said. "The experience, and the quality, is very high - it's another level. The quality is huge, you have to be focussed all the time. If you lose focus in training you can look bad.
"We were so happy to move to Rome. We lived well in Eindhoven, but this is totally different with the weather. With my daughter now, with the sun, it is better to have a normal life with my family. We like this place, this culture and I am sure we will be happy."
