Francesco Totti scored twice as Luciano Spalletti's first-team squad beat the Primavera in a training match at the club's training centre on Friday.

The No. 10 opened the scoring with an early penalty, before lighting up the afternoon with a brilliant first-time volley that flew in via the underside of the crossbar.

Fans were allowed in to watch the contest and, after being treated to that spectacle, they then saw Leo Paredes convert to give the seniors a 3-0 advantage by half-time.

Filippo Franchi scored midway through the second half to ensure the Under-19s took a tangible reward away from a valuable learning experience.
