The game will take place at the club’s Stade Saputo, with kick-off set for 7.30 pm Eastern Daylight Time.
Originally founded in 1992, the Impact obtained MLS status in 2010. They finished third in the Eastern Conference last season, losing out in the semi-finals of the conference play-offs.
So far in 2016 they are once again near the top of the standings in the East. Their squad includes the likes of former Chelsea forward Didier Drogba, Belgium international Laurent Ciman and former Fiorentina midfielder Marco Donadel.
“We are extremely proud to host one of Italy’s most prestigious clubs here in Montreal,” Montreal Impact president Joey Saputo said.
“Following Real Madrid’s visit in July, this will be another unique occasion for our members and supporters to experience international soccer first-hand.”
The Impact game will be the Giallorossi's second friendly of the tour - Luciano Spalletti's squad will face Liverpool in St. Louis on 1 August.
