Roma fan inks permanent Totti tribute

Thomas Jonsson from Sweden feels such a strong affinity with the Roma icon that he has a design of him permanently immortalised along the entire length of his back.

The amount of detail and accuracy in the tattoo is absolutely stunning – showing the Roma captain set against the Colosseum, the landmark of the city Totti so famously adores.

“It’s a celebration to our captain and our leader, his loyalty and just being the King of Rome,” Jonsson explained to asroma.com

The tattoo has so far taken a painstaking 9 hours of inking and there’s still one more 3 hour sitting left before Jonsson has his dream tattoo finished.

“I’ve been a Roma fan since I was 6-years-old. The tattoo was a gift from my wife – it was something I wanted to do for so many years."

“It's possible that I might get 1 or 2 more Roma related tattoos, maybe something next year after we win the scudetto!”
